Hi friends,

I am working on jsf 1.2 , i am having file upload problem.I am posting my code. please check where the mistake has gone.

i used myfaces-extensions-1.0.9.jar for file upload. and other supporting jar files are commons-fileupload-1.2.jar,commons-io-1.4.jar,commons-el.jar,tomahawk-1.1.10.jar.

This is my jsp page

This is my backing bean

my web.xml file

i am getting file as null.

After digging into ExtensionsFilter.class i found this snippet of code where my multipart request is processed and kept in request object properly..

when debugging, in extendedRequest i got FileItem and FileUpload as null.

so my image iam getting as null and iam getting NullPointerException..

Please anybody help.

Thanks
Vipul Kumar.
