How to use GIT with eclipse

I'm new to Git. I want to setup a local repository. I'm using eclipse 3.7 indigo. Can anyone help? thanks

There's a git plugin for eclipse: egit. You can use that.

Thanks for the reply, but actually I'm looking for more about tutorial. I've installed the plugins for eclipse. I opened a random project of mine, right clicked, chose Team --> Share Project and then select GIT (the options were CVS and GIT).

I input "spring" for the name.

Normally the project is located in my workspace folder. So everytime I load a project, it's loaded from that location. But when I use GIT, somehow the project seems to have been loaded from GIT repository folder. Is this normal? It just seems like there are two projects that are the same, in the workspace folder and in the git folder. thanks.

How do I send git repository so that the person to whom I send the repository is able to see the change logs of my project? is it in the git folder? thanks
