create server side alert in struts 2

i'm developing struts 2 web application.

i want to give alert from server side. but i don't know how to create a alert and how to pass it to the application from action class.

if any one knows about it, please give me a solution.

You want to alert the client when an event happens on the server? The only way to do that is to have the client keep polling the server.
