Struts 2 the complete reference is planned, but isn't due out until December 24, 2007.
I don't know if there is a Struts 2 version of Professional Jakarta Struts planned or not, but I am quite certain that no such edition currently exists.

I've read Ians starting-struts2 book but I don't think it is much of a help, not for me anyway. It's a beginners book but it doesn't give any example on how to implement things in a real world application. Sorry, this is the first time I'm complaining about a book really. Yes, this book is aimed at beginners with introductory material and pointers on how things can be done for further investigation. With only 100 pgs, there is only so much you can do
There are several in-depth books coming out, I have one, Don Brown is involved with another, and I think Ted may also be on the list.
