Hi

I'm learning with the book "Sun Certified Programmer for Java 6 Study Guide" from Kathy Sierra & Bert Bates. There's the exam 310-065 code on it. On www.pearsonvue.com I can't find this code to schedule my exam, but a lot of other codes...
Every exam on the screenshot is listed twice with almost the same code, one has the ending JPN(?) Did I highlight the correct exam? The word 'professional' doesn't exist on my book...

edit:
Ok, I can answer my question by myself ;)

But still don't know what the "JPN" exams are for?

Japan ?

But seriously I do not know either. From a vague memory bank, I recall that Sun used to provide certifications at lower value to students and they had a similar scheme to name the certification. The name would be different but the questions on the certification remain the same.

Oracle has changed the exam codes but the exams remain the same. For example the Sun exam CX-310-065 is now Java Standard Edition 6 Programmer Certified Professional Exam 1Z0-851. See the link below for a full list of exam code changes: Exam codes
