This week's book giveaway is in the OCPJP forum. We're giving away four copies of OCA/OCP Java SE 7 Programmer I & II Study Guide and have Kathy Sierra & Bert Bates on-line! See this thread for details.
I took IBM 833 (Object Oriented Analysis) certification on Saturday 14th Jan, 2011 and cleared it with 86% score. My preparation strategy and tips below.
1. I used RMC help content for my preparation along with Applying UML and Patterns book. I read these two materials at about 5 times.
2. There were few questions completely out of the above study materials. I am not sure where to look for this kind of questions. Probably
if we take IBM course 475 we may get appropriate knowledge.
3. Test is combination of easy, medium and tough questions. Some questions were scenario based and NO drag-and-drop questions.
4. All questions are straightforward, no tricky questions.
I started preparing for 834 (Object Oriented Design), planning to complete before Mar-12.
