Lift v MVC

I don't have any experience of Lift yet, and I've only recently started playing with Scala. But having had a quick look at Lift, one of the things that stands out is the contrast between that and the more familiar (to me, anyway) MVC-style frameworks.

So I've got two related questions:

- What do you think is the biggest advantage of Lift's approach over MVC frameworks?

- What's the biggest challenge to someone coming to Lift who is more used to MVC?

Thanks!
