I am new to canada (actually came here just last week ) . I am looking a software engineer and have good experience working[like 3 years in US] with MS Sql server and Java .Does anybody know how job search works here ? i mean are they any job sites where you upload your resume [like Dice,Indeed] ? or are they any well known technical recruiters here ? Any advice is greatly appreciated

I live in Canada. But sorry, I can't tell you anything about how to look for jobs in Canada because I'm a lifer where I work. But perhaps a dumb question: Are you legally entitled to work in Canada?

Yup. Well, as I said I don't know much about job-hunting. I know that www.monster.ca exists and there's a good chance that ".ca" versions of other US sites exist too. But beyond that, I wish you luck.

Canada's a big country. Where are you looking?

Canada's Job Bank may be useful for finding open postings.

As someone in Canada, I'd look hard at Toronto. They seem to need coders of all shapes and stripes there.

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
