Hi Guys,

I am looking forward to give SCWCD exam in next month and i am SCJP 6.0 certified . i have couple of queries mentioned below regarding this SCWCD exam.

1) Which version of SCWCD exam i should give?

- Options: 1) SCWCD 5.0 (1Z0-858)
2) SCWCD 6.0 (1Z0-899) - Newly Launched

Please advice me on which exam to go with. also suggest best book for preparation in both cases.

2) Which is the best book to refer for exam preparation for both of above options.

- If i go for option 1 (SCWCD 5.0) then, i already have Head First Servlet and JSP with me. so does this book is enough for this exam preparation?
- If i go for option 2 (SCWCD 6.0) then which is the book to refer? as i did not find any dedicated book that can cover SCWCD 6.0 part.

Please guide me on this.

Thanks,
Piyush

Hi Piyush,

My in general opinion is, if exam is available for latest version, we should take it (in this case SCWCD 6.0).

Some information can be found here or at SCWCD Wall of Fame

All the best.
