Using Profiling in Java

I am trying to run HPROF Command in IBM AIX running Java 5 version.

I am using the following command:

java -Xrunhprof:cpu=times

I receive the following output:
HPROF ERROR: can't write profile file: java.hprof.txt

Has anyone been able to get HPROF working on a AIX machine running Java5 (or any version)?

Am I executing a wrong command, if so what is the correct way to get this working ?

Any insights would help !

Thanks much mates!!
