Hi friends, i am OCJP Certified. Finished reading Head First Servlets & JSP recently. Now i want to develop a J2EE web application to gain practice, knowledge & confidence. Can anyone of the experienced people advice me from where should i start, what are the correct steps of developing an application. Is there any source of sample case studies or tutorials for that ??
Any advice will be really appreciated. Thanks

JEE Tutorial might be a good place to start as it comes with source code for the samples.

Of course you don't have to try everything there at once, but you can take a look at the code where they belong to the chapters that of your interest. They can be separately identified. But that's probably the best which consists of examples for most of the JEE stack other than many individual tutorials, blogs you can find on the web. And also if you are interested other kinds of frameworks Spring, Hibernate etc... where you can work with sample applications specific to the given technology and the specific application layer.
