Embedded MongoDB?

Can you run MongoDB embedded from Java? I would normally run H2 embedded and it is extremely useful for backing in-memory integration tests

Or does MongoDB need to be a separate process?

Hi Paul,

You have to run it as a separate process. MongoDB is written in C++, so it wouldn't be embeddable in Java anyway.

Have you checked out Aspose?
