Hi all,

I've just finished the Head First book and I picked up most topics and did ok on the exam questions at the end of each chapter.

Now I need advice on my next move. I would like to take the exam as soon as possible. I would not be able to pass the exam right now. I need to cover the book again.

What I was wondering is should I go straight to re-covering the book or should I take some exam questions and refer to the bits of the book I am struggling with on the exam questions.

What have any of you passers done?

Any suggestions are welcome.

Thanks

Hi,

Head First book itself is more than adequate for this exam. If you think that you should cover it again, do it. Also, try to go through exercises without any preparation and you'll get an idea about how much preparation is really needed.

Once you feel that you are ready for exam, then (and then only) attempt the test given at the end of book. But do not attempt it more than twice (the reason being, at third attempt, you'll clear the test because you'll remember all the answers ). If you can clear test given at the end of book, you can expect a good score at actual exam.

I hope this helps.

All the best.
