Welcome to the Ranch

Which icons? You are not at all specific.

Most icons have a flyout that explains what they are if you hover the mouse over them.

I am looking at the forum list icons, the little folders with stars and circles, and 2 diff coloured folders.

the only tooltip I am getting is for "requested it to be marked resolved".
so what do the others mean?

I am using firefox 3.6.25

Hi Wendy,

I'm not sure which exact icon you are looking at, but if you go into a forum like "Java in General" where you have a list of all the thread titles, if you scroll to the bottom, most of the icons are described there.

Let us know if that helps, or if there is something missing. Or if I'm misunderstanding your question.
