F2 and Enter key not working on some webpages in Firefox on intranet site to go back and forward on some pages. This is on some pc's that were reloaded with Windows XP. Old pc with Windows XP and Firefox works with F2 and Enter on these webpages.

ummm...Congratulations?

Is there an actual question that you have that you want help with? If so, please ask...and provide the appropriate code samples.

Otherwise, all you are likely to get is WAGs.

Looks like a question about Firefox to me, I don't see anything about Java here. So I'm going to move the post out of the "Java in General" forum. Might be that more details about the question will prove me wrong, though.

This is on an intranet app we had created where they put Next and Back buttons on the pages and Enter and F2 keys were setup to do these functions also. Maybe a Java or Vbscript access issue, checking with programmer we had do these webpages, it does work on older pc with Windows XP and Firefox on it.

F2 doesn't function as the "back button" on my copy of Firefox either. But that's probably because it isn't supposed to. So somebody must have done something to something somewhere to make F2 be "back". Perhaps that "something" might be that intranet app? Right now we have essentially no information to go on, so anything we say is just going to be guesswork.

Figured out this was a Firefox version 9.0 issue, we updated the pc's to Firefox version 10.0 and the F2 and Enter keys used in the intranet webpages code work.

I agree. Here's the link: http://aspose.com/file-tools
