Pennsylvania is a very large state. And I am willing to bet Winters varies greatly depending on the part of the state, and whether it is typical or not...

I would agree, from Saskatchewan, Canada. For example, today is above zero Celsius. We're used to -20 to -30 C (before windchill) at this time of year.

We have had 1/2" of snow so far this winter. We have hardly had any weather where the high of the day stayed below freezing.
Since I don't like cold and snow, I'm happy.
But the forecast for the month has more cold and snow later on, at least here in the Wash DC area.

I was pulling weeds today in shorts and a t-shirt at 77ºF.
Sunday is supposed to be more typical of this time of year in the 40's.

I am sorry for not being clear enough. I am in South Central Pennsylvania. Couple days back it was 63F in January. Compared to last year when we had crazy winter. I do like warmer weather too but I am afraid that it would mess up the summer too in someway and that would not be good.
