SCJA preparation

hello every one i am a java beginner . i am learning core java and is planning to appear for SCJA exam as soon as possible. some one please tell me how exactly should i prepare for it and also i am completely depended on internet . i have not joined any learning institutes. any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

As I was told when I was a beginner, “Practice, practice, practice.” Write lots of code, get it working, and show it to experienced eyes (eg here).

but can you please guide me through SCJA exam preparation. how much time do i need to prepare for this kind of exam. also i am planning to take SCJP exam in future.
are there any dedicated PDF or study material free to download on internet. it should be strict as per the exam objectives. there are 8 chapters to be completed. please help me soon.
