Howdy Ranchers,

I have to write a java client class for sharepoint web services in my organisation.
Sharepoint implements kerberos(which i have no idea about).

Problem is this class needs to authenticate corporate users already looged in corporate network.
So i will not be able to pass user id and password to get authenticated to access sharepoint web services.

Is there any way considering sharepoint implements kerberos how to write service client which gets authenticated and access the web service.

I'm in a similar situation and the JAAS documentation is not just very long and detailed it never really says this is what you need to do. Well probably more accurately I haven't found that section or I didn't understand it.

Please report back if you figure this out, I will do the same.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
