Sorry but hardly an answer.
The "Fun" factor is subjective. Personally I find programming in C is really fun!

C is really fun for me too, but programming with python is so much fun that it looks like taking a break

Programming with Groovy is fun too - probably because it is quite similar to Python in a lot of ways.

for me it is dynamic additions to a class.

lets say some class is great for you, but you would like another attribute, or a different method -- just write it.
