2 questions on Oracle Weblogic and Oracle Workshop

2 newbie questions:

1. I just got a contract position at a company where Weblogic is used to do portal development. It's been my task for the last 2 weeks to go through this massive amount of code and now I am at the point where I would like to know what some of the portal and portlet classes being extended in our code is actually doing. However, I cannot find the SRC files associated with weblogic going through the BEA directory that I have. We're using workshop, weblogic server and spring in the development environment. We're using version 10.3. Question - where are the src files?

2. In the EAR project there exists the spring.jar file version 2.5.6.SEC01. I right clicked that jar in the Enterprise Application Libraries [OneXXXEAR] folder of our java web project folder. And selected properties then source attachment and after I apply the path to the src directory and click apply the path just disappears which I thought unusual. Then I thought, since we're under some kind of version control within weblogic, do I have to checkout this jar and then apply the path and then it would allow me to attach the source? I did forget to mention that I am working in the Oracle Workshop IDE product.

Hope that info help in getting an answer to my question.

Any help/direction would be appreciated.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
