Windows 7 backup and restore question

I have couple questions regarding backup restore utility that comes with Windows 7 (64-bit) machine. Today for first time I set up the backup scheme and set it to run once every week. Does it do incremental backups or is it full backup each time? Does it backup the registry also? I have also made "repair" disc, which I suppose is boot disk in case I need to restore.
