Hello friends

I wonder if anybody could just explain about the Action.perform() method. To me it's called automatically after ActionForm.validate() and before Action.execute() please correct me if i got it wrong or inadequate.

- Thank you

The perform method of the Action class was only used in version 1.0 of Struts. It was the old name used for what is now the execute method. It has been deprecated since Struts 1.1, and isn't included at all in later versions. So, since Struts 1.2, the correct answer to the question "When does the perform method get called?" is "never".
