Jasper - Dynamic TextField

Hi all,

In JasperReport, is there a way hide the whole textfield element in the code below with an "if" type of statement?
I know there is a "printWhenExpression" but this doesn't work with a whole textfied section.

Basically what I want do do is "If myParameter == false; completely ignore the whole text field section below".
Now, I may be looking at this wrong. Being a web developer, I'm used to using if conditions to completely eliminate huge sections of html.
So perhaps what I'm trying to do is impossible in the reporting world.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

I agree. Here's the link: http://aspose.com/file-tools
