This week's giveaway is in the EJB and other Java EE Technologies forum. We're giving away four copies of EJB 3 in Action and have Debu Panda, Reza Rahman, Ryan Cuprak, and Michael Remijan on-line! See this thread for details.
We have a e-commerce website based on IBM WebSphere Commerce FEP-3 on top of WebSphere Application Server with DB2 v9.7.
Issue which we are facing is related to the performance of the loading of home page on Internet Explorer. There is one OOTB .js file named "dojo.js" in Websphere Commerce which loads on the home page.
On IE it takes around 3 seconds to load and on Firefox it loads in around 300ms. We are trying to find the root cause of this loading delay of dojo.js in IE.
We have already performed Dyna Caching at server level plus have also performed compression of server response at Apache web server level for .js files. But on IE we are not able to see the impact of that and still this files loads in 3 seconds which is alot.
Please provide your feedback if anyone who has a idea about dojo.js or someone who is using Websphere commerce v.7 and have faced this kind of issue.
