some of my village mates always says that dont study too much. if so you will be in trouble...my question is how?

Or, harkening back to my college days: if you study too much, it will severely cut into the time you have to be badly beaten at the games of Go or Twixt. (Both of which I severely suck at.)

It's the "all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy" axiom. Jack Nicholson wrote a whole book about it, but then he murdered Scatman Crothers and froze to death, so the idea has fallen out of favor.

Dude, if you live in a village, you need to consider the source of any advice you get from the locals (i.e., they didn't study too much, look where it got them.)

If you study too much you have no time for movie/fun/shopping and other enjoying activities, you will also get your eyes spoiled.
If one reads a lot then his expectation from exam will be high comparing to the student who is not studying at all.
Getting 95% is sometimes not satisfactory to a guy who is a book worm and he feel sad while if a guy who never study got passed by just 36% throws a party to his friends/village.
so you can understand who is living happy life at from starting to last.
