I am very new to jsp and i am working on agent based project in a distributed enviornment. can anyone please tell me if i am create an agent with jsp. with agent what i mean is an intelligent agent, can someone please help me in implementing an intelligent agent

I have no idea what you mean by "agent" here, but most probably the answer is no. JSP should be use to create views only. Any other usage pattern is discouraged and considered a bad practice. So if your "agent" isn't an HTML page or other text view, JSP is not the correct technology.
