I came across "Ant and Maven Interview Questions You'll Most Likely Be Asked " while looking for a book on Maven that goes into depth (and doesn't exist.) I'm puzzled why someone would buy/read a book on this topic. There's not going to be a whole interview about build tools.

What am I missing here?

Judging by the number of individuals who attempt to mask a lack of skill or experience with trying to memorize the answer to interview questions, I think there's a huge market for such books.

Cheers!

Luke +1

@Jeanne,
I think, for a release and build engineer kind of profile, one would be expected to have in depth knowledge about build tools and scripting?

Thanks. I do agree with LUke. I just couldn't imagine an interview focused on build tools. You are correct a release/build engineer would be.
