The serverside code can not do anything.

okay,good to hear that.

have a lousy solution anyway-

if anyone like me faced the similar problem,do so as specified below-

abc.jsp
<%
if(condition)
{
--some html code--
}
else
{
%>
<form name="gg" action="dummy.html" target="FRAME5">
</form>
<script language="javascript">
document.gg.submit();
</script>
<%
}
%>

dummy.html
<html>
--some code as in the else block
</html>


this will produce the desired effect.


 
Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
