Is there an exam that is available to take for IOS development (like SCJP)

There's more to life than certifications -- why don't you just write some apps?

Thanks, sometimes it helps to learn better by having this exam goal.

I agree with Bear - even if there were such a certification, it's unlikely to impress anyone as much as a couple of nice apps out in the wild (without which nobody is going to pay you for iOS development anyway).

I don't think iOS is in there, but I could have missed it.

Having an approved application at Apple Store is what the majority (if not all) of employers are looking for.
