Functionality:- User enters an associate_id and clicks search. The results are displayed in the bottom half of the page.

The problem is, it throws a null pointer exception since the associate object is not there the first time the page loads. It gets created in my DAO class once the results are fetched. Can you please suggest a turnaround.
