That is the world famous Gillette business model, which is taught in every MBA school on the planet. Sell the razor at a lose, and make it up with huge markup on the blades. Gillette has been doing this since the late 1800s.
This company claims they will cut their costs by reducing/eliminating marketing. Relying instead on social media.
I'm not convinced, there are a lot of consumer products (razors,
soap, deodorant, etc.) that are sold only after huge amounts of advertising.
