Monkhouse book - SCJD Exam with J2SE 5 - Kindle edition

Hi,

There is a Kindle edition of the Monkhouse book on Amazon UK. Strangely it says in the details: 'Publisher: Apress; 2 edition (2 Aug 2002)' whereas the paperback edition is from 2005 ('APRESS; 2nd Revised edition edition (1 Dec 2005)'. Even more strangely when going to the Kindle preview it shows the cover 'The Sun Certified Java Developer Exam with J2SE 1.4' with the comment 'This view is of the print book (Paperback edition). A preview of the Kindle book is currently not available.'.

It doesn't sound likely they publish an old edition on Kindle. Does anybody have an explanation?

Thanks, John

Hi John Stark,

I guess that the kindle version is for old book (SCJD 1.4).

However, it would be far better if you get in touch with Amazon itself. There you would get a definite (and quick) answer.

I hope this helps.
