Moving this to MD, which is where I think you intended to post this.
This is an interesting idea, but I am skeptical about it. I wonder how much the machine costs and its ROI. If I get a craving for cupcakes at midnight, I would substitute it with something else instead of taking a trip in the dark to a cup cake vending machine.

New York City isn't as dark at night as you might imagine. I wouldn't go to the cupcake vending machine either. If it's not fresh, it might as well have come from the supermarket rather than going out.
