Communication between servlets

Hi experts!

how to communicate between 2 servlets which are present in two different web applications?

case1: two web applications are deployed in the same server (for example tomcat)
case2: two web applications are deployed in two different servers (for example tomcat and weblogic)

need help

Impossible to say without more context. For example, do they just need to share data? If so, they could both access the same database.

Query strings can be used whether they are on the same server or not.

Assuming that's the type of communication that the OP is talking about -- we still don't know.
