I got a source code and database of a software in JSP/Postgresql

I want to configure it in my system.

I used tomcat 5.0 and postgresql 9.0. I have no knowledge about JSP/Java.I just want to configure the source code.I put the source code in webapps/root directory.
i also port the database successfully.

I got the main page of the application. But when i trying to login, got the following error.

HTTP Status 404 - /test/servlet/

type - Status report

message- /test/servlet/

description- The requested resource (/test/servlet/ is not available.

i dont know anything about the source code.

Is there any problem with servlet routing? If yes, how can i configure it?

Servlet mapping is done in the web.xml file. But if you know nothing of either servlets, JSP or Java, I recommend you start by learning the language, and then Java web apps, by perusing a couple of books.
