From the server, is it possible to invoke a particular midlet on a mobile client?

Maybe this can achieved by sending a text message to the user with a link that uses the file URI scheme or something similar??

Thanks,
James

I sure hope it's not possible without the help of some piece of software on the mobile device. Not sure how JME works - Android has something called Cloud-to-Device-messagin (C2DM) that could be used by a server to send a message to a specific device - but it still wouldn't accomplish anything without an app on the device that is listening for that exact message and takes action based on its content.
