Createing dynamic tables with Struts elements

I have not started coding yet, but this is the problem:

I am simulating an excel spreadsheet in an html page. The user can select a range, so the table columns and rows need to change based on the user inputs. Each cell will have a single line entry field to gather user inputs.

From what I understand, Struts elements are mapped to a form field. But I do not know now many Struts single line entry fields I wil need until runtime. How do I handle this?

This can be done using "indexed properties". For more information on this, please see question 6 of the JavaRanch Struts FAQ
