how to populate a form from database ?

Hi,

can you please give me an example on how to populate a form from a database , edit it and send it back to the database ?

This link shows a good example of a database application using the DAO (Data Access Object) pattern. However, it doesn't show you any actual database retrieval and update code, just where you should put that code. However, I suspect you already know how to do that part - it's just standard JDBC code.

I have a question please,
the user will be presented with a form that has lot of rows from a database, each line will be like this :

ID --- TITLE --- 0(1) 0(2) 0(3) 0(4) 0(5)

the user has only to select one radio button of each line (it's like a survey) and the submit the form back to the database.

1)How to create the last data called (priority) in the database ?
