Hi

Today I passed it with 78% (with stomach upset and headache, maybe last exam was too long ago ). I'm glad, that a time of pain is over
I have experience in Java of about 4 years (it's my daily business...)
Sometimes it was very frustrating, I mean to see questions how nobody would programming it. Compilation fails is my nemesis
I've learned a lot. But also a lot of unneccessary stuff that I'll forget in a few weeks
I will never do something like this again (try to study further without oracle exams )

A little résumé:
  • Preparation was about five months
  • I've read the book from Sierra & Bates twice
  • Some chapters I've read more than twice
  • There were about 2-3 very nasty questions on the exam, which I think over 90% of experienced Java-Programmer answer wrong

  • I would claim that more experienced/better programmers in my company would all fail in the exam (without preparing)
  • The last 2-3 weeks before the exam I began with the mock exams
