Hard to believe those are real photographs. In some photos sizes of other objects dont make sense.
I may be wrong though.

Normally, to take a photo like this, you'd use a macro lens, and then the depth of field will be tiny. The sun in the background would be all fuzz.
Even if it was a real photo of a staged event (perhaps with fake ants), I'd expect more artifacts of the macro lens
