Howdy Ranchers!

I have recently cleared Oracle Certified Expert, Java Enterprise Edition 6, Enterprise JavaBeans Developer exam with a score of 98%.

I would like to say: 'Thank You' to all of the ranchers who helped mi with my preparations. Special thanks go to Piotr Nowicki who was answering my 'odd' questions . By the way, look at the advices which were written down by Piotr: .

My advices for those who are going to sit that exam:

1). Read a book: 'Enterprise JavaBeans 3.1, 6th Edition - O'Reilly Media' by Rubinger and Burke. It is a good source of knowledge and covers lots of exam topics however it is not written especially for the exam. Read it carefully because there is some subtle information hidden and it can be important from the exam point of view.

2). Read Ivan Krizsan notes:
It is another good source of knowledge - 100% exam objectives oriented. Thanks mate for such a good piece of work.

3). You can skim through Java Knowledge Base tutorial that covers EJB 3.1:

4). When you are confused refer to EJB 3.1 Spec:

5). Some kind of a mock exam is a good part of final preparations.

After that you are ready to pass the exam.
