Substitute one color with another on an image

Hi!

I need to substitute one color with white on an image. I've read about IndexColorMmodel, ColorModel and RGBImageFilter, but I don't understand how they work.

The color I want to substitute is: R: 113 G: 75 B: 96

And of course, white is 255,255,255.

I've read several examples, but can't grasp all the concepts. I'm new working with images.

How can I do it?

You didn't return to the last thread you started, not even to reply to Paul's response on that thread. How do we know whether you're really interested in any responses anyone might post on this one?

edit Maybe you got the answer on a cross post and that's why you didn't think it necessary to inform us here? Please BeForthrightWhenCrossPostingToOtherSites

Any more?

There are no new questions, but there may be new answers.

First of all, I DID reply in stackoverflow, and second, stackoverflow and coderanch are TWO different sites, and very likely they have many different readers, so I don't find a point in your reply.

But you didn't reply here.

We don't mind if you post questions on multiple sites, but please let us (and the other sites) know about that. Otherwise we might go to a lot of trouble to answer your question when you have already received an answer somewhere else days ago. We will have wasted our time and we don't like that. So when you tell us about the question on the other sites we can check those first, and then reply if we still have anything useful to add.
