i want to give SCJP/OCJP exam within 2 months, i have studied scjp 6 in past but now should i go for java 6 or 7...??
what is the difference between them..?? which one is better...

guysss its urgent....awaiting reply asap...

Always go for the updated version. But as you are telling that you have prepared for SCJP6.0. Again revise and give lots of mock exams after that give scjp6.0. Later you can upgrade to 7.0.
If you want to write OCJP7.0 You have to write OCJA7.0 first, which is not needed in case of OCJP6.0.

Welcome to CodeRanch! You posted this in our April Fools Day forum. I've moved it to the SCJP forum since it looks like a serious question. And Srinivas gave a serious answer.

I think it depends on how long ago you studied for the SCJP 6. If it was less than a year ago (or so), I'd say go with it. If it has been a long time, you've probably forgotten a lot anyway.

Note that you have to take two tests to get to OCPJP 7 anyway. It's going to be easier to take the OCAJP 7 first. It's an easier exam. Then you take the harder OCPJP 7.
