Dear Friends,

Right now my app is running in IE 7.0. We are going to upgrade the app to IE 8.0. For sure, there will be some UI incompatibilities with both the IE versions. I just need to know how to approach this browser compatibility issues. Since i don't have expertise in UI related stuff (i have a basic understanding of HTML/Java Script) i request you to all how to start fixing the compatibility issues.

(1) Is there any tools that will compare the generated UI in different browser versions?
(2) Any suggested good tutorials to start with?
(3) Is there any development process to follow during the code change for browser upgrade?

Please provide your valuable suggestions/comments.

Answer is there are no books, tutorials, or tools.

Reason they are going to only 8 and not 9? Are you stuck on XP still?

Hi Eric,

The business requirement/agreement is for the version upgrade to 8.0 and only support for Win-XP.
