How are you starting Tomcat? Via Eclipse? Or from a command line?

How did you deploy the application to Tomcat? Did you copy the WAR to webapps, or did you associate your dynamic web app project to the Tomcat server?

hello,

According to the Stack trace that you have posted, there is no deployment in your Tomcat, you have not deployed anything in your tomcat, This stack is obtained during the start of Tomcat 6.0.35.

Then in that case please answer the following questions.

1.Did you Create a Dynamic Web Project ? (http://www.eclipse.org/webtools/jst/components/ws/1.0/tutorials/CreateWebProject/CreateWebProject.html)
2.Did you Build the Project ?
3.Did you clean the project ?
4 Did you Right-click on the project and then Click Run on Server ?

To get more idea on Eclipse please go though the following link,

http://www.vogella.de/articles/Eclipse/article.html

if you have done all of the above, then the problem must be with the Eclipse and Tomcat.
