Do thoughts become reality???

Is it true that whatever thoughts we attract has an effect on how we think about it??

You should assume that you already have won a lottery and dating super models ;)

if you keep on thinking in a future manner winning a lottery it will always be as a future and it will never come :P

Here is some food for thought

If you think about thoughts becoming reality, has the thought about thoughts becoming reality not become a reality by itself ?

This is the premise of the so-called law of attraction, as described in The Secret, both book and movie. According to Wikipedia, the book sold 21 million copies, so there are presumably some people who believe it. My personal opinion is that it proves the adage, "A fool and his money are soon parted."

The thing is I do believe positive thinking and general open-mindedness are keys to happiness and success. Just because some hucksters are corrupting that message for their own profit doesn't mean it's not true.

Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny.”

When I was playing chess at a young age (and I wasn't playing well anyway), I was once given an advice from my friend:
Always aim at winning. If you aim at a draw, you'll lose.

His other advice was "pexeso", a language pun which roughly translates to "infernally concentrate on the game". This advice seemed to work better.

Well Once i woke up early morning for a Walk(well sitting in a cubicle all the time makes you dull and gain some weight :P)... I usually used to go for a mountain trekking where few people have sighted a cheetah at the top of the mountain. As I was trekking all alone to the top ,the way the surrondings and trees were appearing early morning gripped me with fear that Cheetah might come well I reached the top there was no sighting of the cheetah, But when i was coming down.. I heard a huge roar sound, I thought it must be some ringtone of somebody trekking from other route.Again I heard the sound I panicked and i somehow tried to take a shortcut by sliding on a slope....I had a hole in my trackpants i just tried to scan where the sound was coming and to my suprise It was there sitting on the rocks taking sunbath...I mean from the slope on which i slided he was only a few steps away.I am not sure whether he saw me or not I panicked and ran in opposite direction, but later on gathered some courage took a big huge stick from a tree bark and i went in that direction as from there itself was my escape point to reach the public garden

The strong thought or fear in my mind of cheetah presence really turned into a reality. I am lucky enough that nothing happened to me

i have heard that the first step to making something real is to imagine it

That's one interpretation. My much more pedestrian mind read it as. "Others have reported a cheetah in that place. When I went there, I heard and saw the cheetah, so apparently the reports were true."

Is there a good reason you sought death by tracking a wild cheetah with a stick ? Come to think of it the cheetah didnt bother you at all !

Hi Deepak,

There has been reports of a Drunken Sardar being eaten on the hillsteps, also a News about a Lawyer who used to do morning walking in the early 5:00 am was also attacked and killed....thats why just to be much more safer i thought of having a big stick from one of the tree barks. It was hell of an experience.I panicked as if that was my last moment and was missing my Home , My computer , My family and was remembering God n number of timess
