Problem deleting Exchange calendar items using JAVA EWS api

Hi,

I've been asked to take on a project that makes classroom schedules available on an Exchange Calendar. I pull the data from meeting records in our institutional DBMS (Datatel/Colleague) and write it to Exchange using a Java implementation of the Exchange Web Services API (EWSJavaAPI_1.1.5 downloaded from the MSDN Archive). Class schedules can change and I need to be able to identify calendar entries that need to be modified or deleted but the problem is that I need the ItemID to update or delete a specific calendar item. The Appointment class does not include a method for retrieving that ID when I Create the calendar entry and I don't have any idea at this point on how get the ItemID.

Has anyone worked with Java EWS API and figured out the problem?

Thanks,
