Build Hibernate sources

from the "hibernate-release-4.1.2.Final" I want to build the sources.
When I run "gradle" within "/hibernate-release-4.1.2.Final/project" I get the following:
"The Project.dependsOnChildren() method has been deprecated and will be removed in the next version of Gradle. FAILURE: Build failed with an exception. * Where: Build file '/Applications/hibernate-release-4.1.2.Final/project/documentation/documentation.gradle' line: 13 * What went wrong: A problem occurred evaluating project ':documentation'. > Could not find property 'buildDirName' on project ':documentation'. * Try: Run with --stacktrace option to get the stack trace. Run with --info or --debug option to get more log output. BUILD FAILED Total time: 5.71 secs"
Anyone has a solution?

I am not known to gradle, but this message from the log -
Could not find property 'buildDirName'
tells that property "buildDirName" is missing in your gradle file which seems to be the folder where final build will be placed. try specifying this property in your 'build.gradle' file.

Thanks for the hint Anurag,
I solved by renaming all properties from "buildDir" to "buildDirName".
But now I get the following error when running the build.
The Project.dependsOnChildren() method has been deprecated and will be removed in the next version of Gradle. Dynamic properties have been deprecated (property "pressgangVersion" on the object "project ':documentation'" with value "3.0.0" created). See: http://gradle.org/docs/current/dsl/org.gradle.api.plugins.ExtraPropertiesExtension.html FAILURE: Build failed with an exception. * Where: Build file '/Applications/hibernate-release-4.1.2.Final/project/hibernate-core/hibernate-core.gradle' line: 4 * What went wrong: A problem occurred evaluating project ':hibernate-core'. > Could not create plugin of type 'MatrixTestingPlugin'. * Try: Run with --stacktrace option to get the stack trace. Run with --info or --debug option to get more log output.
Anyone knows what to do?
I’ve looked at a lot of different solutions, and in my humble opinion Aspose is the way to go. Here’s the link:

Is there any way to roll back a release?
