How to see if tracing is enabled (JCP)

Is it possible to see if tracing is enabled? I enabled tracing with the java control panel (not over parameters). I tried to get the property over System.getProperty("javaplugin.trace"); , as i suspected the returned value is null .

Is there any way to see in the code if tracing or debugging is enabled in the java control panel?

Thanks for every answer.

Greetings, Daniel
