Is there way for a NON-DURABLE subscriber to retrieve the unconsumed messages from the topic ;in case the previous connection/subscription was accidentally closed?
The messages sent to the topic are persistent.

We are on weblogic 10.0 - but suggestions are welcome for the later versions too.
Appreciate the help

Unless you want to do something very specific with the 'unconsumed 'message, i'd replace the Topic with a Message Queue. Messages on the queue are redelivered on failured attempts/ timeouts

With a little knowledge, a cast iron skillet is non-stick and lasts a lifetime.
